Lou Osumi, a resident of Parlier, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the age of 65.

She grew up in Parlier, graduated Parlier High School, and went to Reedley College and San Francisco State University. She worked seven years in retail in the Bay Area for Bollocks, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Laura Ashley.  She then became a women's fashion buyer for Gottschalks in Fresno, California for 16 years. Lou lived life well while battling cancer the last 16 years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kengo Osumi.

She is survived by her mother, Mitsuko "Mitzi" Osumi; brother, Gregg Osumi; sister, Joy Lynne Crockett and her husband, Casey; one nephew; and three nieces.
