Alfredo (Freddy) Rivera Sanchez, 81 of Fowler CA
Passed away Peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday April 6, 2024 In Hanford, CA. He was the 1st born son, born on Monday February 15, 1943 to parents Florentino and Maria De Jesusa Rivera de El Rancho De San Juan, Guanajuato MX.
He was a hardworking and dedicated man who was always willing to help others. He was loved and respected by many. His presence and personality always lit up the room, especially with his beautiful blue eyes. Anyone who crossed path with Alfredo (Freddy) was sure to hear something funny, or definitely going to be poked fun of in some kind of loving way. He got a kick out of playing a small prank on you, especially on his Grandkids. Alfredo (Freddy) enjoyed working, having a smoke, and loved baseball. San Diego Padres was his favorite team. Alfredo (Freddy) played baseball as a kid, into his adulthood. He was known to be a Great Pitcher in his day's.
Alfredo (Freddy) was known to be a hard worker and always made sure his work was done well. His love, dedication, and loyalty to his work for agriculture was undeniable and the Irrigation system was his specialty.
Alfredo (Freddy) greatest accomplishment was his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Alfredo is survived by his 9 loving children.
Leticia Rivera-Valdez (Arthuro) of Hanford; Olga Prieto (Gilbert), Alfredo Rivera Jr (Maribel) of Fowler; Lewis Rivera (Judy) of Clovis; Jeanette Hernandez (Roy) of Vacaville; Maria Mendoza of Sanger; Florentino Rivera (Sonia), Isabel Montoya (Anthony), And Rolando Rivera (Doris) all of Fresno.
He's also survived by 26 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, one sister Maria Rivera and numerous Niece's and Nephew's.
Alfredo was Preceded in death by his oldest daughter; Alicia Rivera his parents Florentino and Maria De Jesusa Rivera, his sister Irma Rivera, and 3 brothers, Jesse (Chito), Moses & Raul Rivera
Alfredo (Freddy) spent the last few years of his life with his daughter and son in law Leticia and Art Valdez of Hanford.
They both want to express what an Honor it was to have him close by and especially in his last days.
He still had them laughing and smiling with his, jokes, pranks, and being funny with a little sarcasm here and there.
Alfredo (Freddy) was a straight shooter and lived his life unapologetic,
in the most Humble and Authentic way possible.
True to himself always.
