It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arnulfo, known by family and friends as Arnold. Arnold was born November 27, 1954, in San Joaquin, CA, to his parents, Martin Garcia and Maria Magdalena Gonzalez.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor in Science degree. He enjoyed watching football and spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be best remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed. Although we are left with a great loss, we must remember to cherish the memories we have.

He is survived by his daughter, Denise Cantu, son-in-law David Cantu, 2 grandchildren Nathaniel and Sophia Cantu, 2 brothers Lupe G. Garcia and Ernesto G. Garcia, 2 sisters Margaret G. Agavo and Maria Isabel G. Rodriguez, 1 sister-in-law Molly Garcia, many nieces, nephews, and their families, including many friends who were considered family, including the Escoto & Echeveste families.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Martin Garcia, Maria G. Garcia, his son Andrew C. Garcia and his sister-in-law Tina Leal-Garcia

A rosary & church service will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 9:30am at St. Mary's Church
