Brett Justin Carver, age 42, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 13, 2026.

Born in Fresno, California, on August 25, 1983, Brett was raised in Sanger and graduated from Sanger High School in 2001. He worked as a Construction Manager throughout much of his career, earning the respect of those he worked alongside through his strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to help others.

While Brett worked hard and enjoyed a successful career, his work was never what defined him. What defined Brett most were the relationships he built and the people he cared about.

Brett was the kind of person people naturally gravitated toward. He never met a stranger, could strike up a conversation with anyone, and had a remarkable ability to make people laugh. Whether he was telling stories, cracking jokes, cooking for friends and family, or simply enjoying good company, Brett made every gathering better just by being there.

He loved fishing, golfing, shooting, cooking, watching UFC fights, cheering on his beloved Raiders, and spending time outdoors. Some of his happiest moments were spent surrounded by family and friends, sharing food, laughter, and stories.

Brett had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and ranch life. He spent countless hours working cattle, fixing fences, and helping care for the family property. He loved animals and took pride in looking after them. The hard work never bothered Brett except for picking up rocks from the fields as a kid, so his father could plant hay—a chore he continued to joke about for the rest of his life.

One of Brett's greatest gifts was friendship. He was fiercely loyal, generous with his time, and always willing to help a friend, neighbor, or family member. If someone needed a hand, Brett was often one of the first to show up. The countless friendships he built throughout his life stand as a testament to the kind of man he was and the impact he had on those around him.

Brett is survived by his loving parents, David Noble Carver and Debra Gail Carver; his brother, Brian David Carver; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, lifelong friends, and loved ones who will miss him dearly.

While his passing leaves an immeasurable void, Brett's laughter, stories, generosity, and friendship will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Sanger Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to continue celebrating Brett's life immediately following the service at Travioli River Ranch, 6245 Holbrook Avenue, Reedley, California 93654. A catered lunch and refreshments will be provided.

In honor of Brett, we invite everyone to do what he loved most: gather with friends and family, share stories, laugh often, and celebrate life.
