Carla Chavez was born on September 15, 1971, in Watsonville, CA. Carla passed away on September 21, 2026. She was a resident of Fresno, CA. She is survived by her mother, Mary Chavez, sister Sandy Caldera, nephew Keegan Caldera, nephew Quinton Caldera, nephew Colton Caldera and niece Gianna Caldera. She was predeceased by her father Isaac Chavez and her brother-in-law Gary Caldera. She was also predeceased by her grandparents Demetrio & Adela Chavez and Evencio & Apolonia Aja. She leaves behind many cousins, aunts, uncles and her church family.

Carla graduated from Clovis High School, she attended Swan Avenue Baptist Church in Sanger for over 30 years, she helped her mother for many years provide care for her nephews and adopted nephews as a babysitter. She helped her parents with cleaning the church, was a big fan of Selena, loved the Dallas Cowboys, she maintained close friendships with her best friends from High School, Debbie and Ana. She loved cats, she loved going to the Fresno Fair, she enjoyed calling her cousins on the phone, listening to music, watching movies and eating sweets.
