Carlos Rodriguez Ruiz, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Carlos was born on May 18, 1946, in Moyahua, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Maria Rodriguez and Juan Ruiz. He came to the United States in search of better opportunities and eventually made his home in Sanger, California.

Carlos was a hardworking and determined man who dedicated his life to providing for his family. He worked for many years at Glacier's Packing in Sanger and later retired from JP Lamborn after 20 years of dedicated service. Alongside his brother Evaristo, Carlos also pursued several business ventures, including restaurants throughout the Central Valley, and farming land in Riverdale.

Carlos will be remembered for his unmatched work ethic, generous heart, and love for life. He was the life of the party, always welcoming family and friends into his home, ready to dance, laugh, share a story, and offer a cold beer. Known lovingly as Uncle Charley and Tío Carlos, he made everyone feel welcome and loved.

Carlos enjoyed gardening, building things, traveling, going to the casino, and spending time with his family. He was especially proud of his children and grandchildren and loved celebrating their accomplishments.

Carlos was preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Juan, and his sisters, Cirilla and Lupe.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Rosalia Herrera Ruiz; his siblings, Evaristo, Jose Manuel, Concepcion, and Salvador; his children, Juan Carlos and his wife Sofia, Veronica and her husband Cecil Molina, Luis Pavon, Marivel and her husband Jeremy Hopper, Evaristo and his wife Veronica, and Alberto and his wife Arcelia; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Vivian, Jacob, Ariel, Carlos "CJ," Aden, Alyssa, Deina, Joshua, Alejandro, Rio, Carolina, and Jonathon "JJ"; his great-granddaughter, Xiomara; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Carlos leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, unity, generosity, and celebration. His memory will live on through the family he cherished, the stories shared, and the love he gave so freely.

Carlos Rodríguez Ruiz, amado esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, hermano, tío y amigo, descansó en paz eternamente el jueves 4 de junio de 2026, rodeado de su querida familia.

Carlos nació el 18 de mayo de 1946 en Moyahua, Zacatecas, México, hijo de María Rodríguez y Juan Ruiz. Llegó a los Estados Unidos en busca de mejores oportunidades y finalmente estableció su hogar en Sanger, California.

Carlos fue un hombre trabajador y decidido que dedicó su vida a proveer para su familia. Trabajó durante muchos años en Glacier's Packing en Sanger y más tarde se jubiló de JP Lamborn después de 20 años de servicio dedicado. Junto a su hermano Evaristo, Carlos también emprendió varios negocios, incluyendo restaurantes en todo el Valle Central y tierras agrícolas en Riverdale.

Carlos será recordado por su incomparable ética de trabajo, su corazón generoso y su amor por la vida. Carlos deja un legado de trabajo arduo, amor, unidad, generosidad y celebración. Su memoria vivirá a través de la familia que tanto atesoró, las historias compartidas y el amor que brindó con tanta generosidad.
