Carlos Gutiérrez de Sanger, CA falleció el 19 de febrero de 2024 a los 77 años. Esta sobrevivido por su amada esposa de 54 años Antonia Gutiérrez, sus hijos Juan Carlos Gutiérrez y Alejandro Gutiérrez, y sus hijas Maricela Gutiérrez, Leticia Chávez y Lizette Gutiérrez. Lo extrañarán sus yernos Jose Chavez, Andrew Padilla, Than Pham y sus nueras Silvia Gutiérrez y Sandra Gutiérrez.  Era muy querido por sus 12 nietos, Celina, Joey, Gabriela, Ariana, Bella, Camila, Savannah, Sofía, Devani, Yoltzin, Itzela y Yariel.

Carlos emigró a Sanger en 1971 en busca de una vida mejor para sus hijos. Cuando llegó por primera vez a Sanger, trabajó en el caneria Glacier Foods. Luego de allí, trabajo como campesino y mayordomo por varios años antes de empezar su propio negocio vendiendo cítrico por su companía Carlos' Produce.

Carlos se ganó el respeto y la admiración de sus colegas por su honestidad, valor y ejemplar ética de trabajo. Siempre fue un líder en su campo, defendiendo constantemente los derechos y el bienestar de sus compañeros de trabajo, dedicándose a ayudar a numerosas personas a conseguir empleo.  Carlos dedicó su vida a su oficio desde muy joven, encontrando una verdadera alegría en la capacidad de crear y proveer a través de su trabajo manual.

Una cosa sobre Carlos es que nunca se rindió, siempre creyó que siempre había una salida a cualquier problema o situación. Era un hombre alegre y cariñoso que disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia. El mayor orgullo de Carlos era ver a sus hijos convertirse en profesionales con una buena educación. Él es un verdadero ejemplo del Sueño Americano: vino a este país en busca de una vida mejor y ha construido un legado duradero que sus hijos seguirán. ¡Lo extrañaremos siempre!

Carlos Gutiérrez of Sanger, CA, passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 77. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Antonia Gutiérrez, his sons Juan Carlos Gutiérrez and Alejandro Gutiérrez, and his daughters Maricela Gutiérrez, Leticia Chávez, and Lizette Gutiérrez. He will be dearly missed by his sons-in-law Jose Chavez, Andrew Padilla, Than Pham, and his daughters-in-law Silvia Gutiérrez and Sandra Gutiérrez. He was deeply loved by his 12 grandchildren, Celina, Joey, Gabriela, Ariana, Bella, Camila, Savannah, Sofía, Devani, Yoltzin, Itzela, and Yariel.

Carlos emigrated to Sanger in 1971 in search of a better life for his children. Upon first arriving in Sanger, he worked at Glacier Foods cannery. After that, he worked as a farm worker and field manager for several years before starting his own business selling citrus through his company, Carlos' Produce.

Carlos earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues for his honesty, courage, and exemplary work ethic. He was always a leader in his field, consistently defending the rights and well-being of his fellow workers and dedicating himself to helping many find employment. Carlos dedicated his life to his craft from a very young age, finding true joy in the ability to create and provide through his manual work.

One thing about Carlos was that he never gave up; he always believed there was a solution to any problem or situation. He was a cheerful and loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family. Carlos' greatest pride was seeing his children become well-educated professionals. He is a true example of the American Dream: he came to this country in search of a better life and built a lasting legacy that his children will continue. We will miss him always!
