Carole Ann Moore, age 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28th, 2023, in Visalia, California. She was born November 21st, 1946, in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Marvin Monroe Dent and Opal Bernice Bridgers. She Moved to California with her family in 1950. She attended Riverdale High School where she met the love of her life, George Moore in 1963. They were Married April 28, 1964.
They were married for 59 wonderful years and brought up their children Carole Acevedo, Cheryl Martinez, and George Ray Moore Jr. as well as grandchildren Travis Martinez and Macie Chavez.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Opal and her brother Gary. She is survived by her husband of 59 years George, Daughters Carole (Acevedo) of Kingsburg, Cheryl (Martinez) of Hanford and son Ray Moore Jr. of Beaumont as well as 9 grand children, Travis Martinez, Mackenzie Torres, Dallas Faulkner, Houston Acevedo, Macie Chavez, Gavin Moore, Lucas Acevedo, Haley Moore, Blake Moore and 3 great grandchildren, Matthias Torres, Marley Torres, and Mia Moore. She is also survived by her brother Olaf of Hanford, sisters Shirely Anderson of Visalia, Kathleen Cunha of Riverdale, Sarah Heliin of Visalia and Sharon Santos of Arroyo Grande, 17 nephews and 8 nieces.
Carole loved camping with her loved ones, reading and dancing. She was a great fan of the Eagles, Celine Dion, and Bob Seger. Some of her favorite songs included "Take It Easy", "Because You Loved Me", and "Old Time Rock & Roll". George and Carole loved "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers and it was "their song".
Carole was a compassionate individual and had a way of noticing those who needed a helping hand. She gave unwavering support to her husband, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, siblings and friends. She was a silent hero to many as she refused recognition for her good deeds.
Carole lived the life of a gypsy as she relocated with her husband as required by his career changes. This took her from the Central Valley to Southern Ca, back to the Valley, then back to So Ca, then to Texas, then to the bay area then back to So Ca and finally to Visalia. She loved the many experiences they shared in their travels and the many wonderful people she met and became friends with.
Carole was loved by many and will be greatly missed by them all.
