Carrie Fevinger passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024 after a long illness.  Carrie was born in Fowler, CA on August 4, 1946 to Ezequiel and Josephine Fevinger.  Carrie attended Fowler High School graduating with the class of 1965, and soon after, married her high school sweetheart Tony Quijano.  Together they had one son Derek Quijano, and three adopted children, Mark, Ericka and Athena.  Carrie is survived by 10 grandchildren, her two living siblings, Mary Fevinger-Munoz, Joe Fevinger, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Carrie was a loving and gentle soul.  The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Carrie. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sudoku, word search, watching Jeopardy, family backyard barbeques, and most of all her trips to Monterey with her sister.   Carrie's faith was important to  her and she was a long time member of Valley Christian Center, in Fresno, Ca.

Carrie retired from Fresno Unified School District after twenty years of service.

She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
