Cesar
Santoyo
May 26, 1972 — Dec 4, 2023
Sanger
Our brother has been called home. His work here is done. Those that knew him felt comfort in his presence. Those that didn't may have thought otherwise but soon learned of his patience, kindness and understanding. His love for his friends and family was unsurpassable. His dedication to those at work, the families, visitors and others was monumental. Though his watch is done, we will all carry on in his memory.
Cesar was born in Fresno, California on May 26, 1972. He was the youngest of three boys born to Victor and Maria Santoyo. He grew up on the outskirts of Sanger playing in the backdrop of the foothills. His love and dedication to our country and community started in highschool as a member of the Sanger High NJROTC. He went on to attend Reedley Community College where he worked on his fine arts degree.
Most recently he worked security at the Fresno Surgical Center as well as Grizzly Stadium. Their kind and loving comments from those he worked with tell us that he is leaving a big void. His work with the Grizzly's spoke to his passion for sports and he saw his job as a way to meet and help people more than work while enjoying the game of baseball. His win or lose love for the LA Dodgers as well as "HIS" Raiders spoke for itself.
Chi, as known and loved by family and close friends went home to our Lord on December 2, 2023. He is survived by his son Matthew, Rachel and Amy who he loved and raised as his own daughters. His brothers Carlos and Victor Jr, their spouses as well as his nieces; Sarah, Brianne, Sienna and Nizeth. His nephews Albert, Aaron and Victor III and their children. We are also grateful to our aunts and uncles and many cousins who stand with us now and stood with us when we were faced with the loss of our parents. May Almighty God provide us his peace and comfort as well as to all who knew and loved Chi. He leaves behind a void as big as he is.
Rest in peace brother, our gentle giant, your work here is done. Rejoice in the glory of our Savior and the comfort of our parents in heaven.
Go in peace Chi, we have the watch.
