On August 7, 2023, Concepcion Torres-Garza was called to heaven. She was 85 years old. She is survived by her brother Joe Torres and her children Ruben Garza, Richard Garza, Raymond Garza, Danny Garza, Mary Lou Garza, Esther Reyes, John Garza, and Julie Garza. She has 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren who loved her dearly.

Concepcion was born in Guanajuato, Mexico on March 10, 1938. When she was a teenager, she came to the United States. In 1955, she married Jose Garza and together resided in Sanger, California. She was a very strong, independent, loving and caring woman. She loved knitting, birds, her dog Lucky, reading her bible and cooking very delicious and authentic Mexican dishes. She always served God, read her bible daily and prayed with strong faith.

Concepcion is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three siblings, and a great-grandchild.
