Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emilio Guel Rodriguez, who left this world on December 1, 2025, at the age of 62.

Born on August 8, 1963, in Atzcapotzalco, Distrito Federal, Emilio was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose warmth and strength were felt by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Evodio Guel and Clotilde Rodriguez, whom he loved deeply. Emilio carried them in his heart every day and cherished every trip he made back to Mexico to visit them.

Emilio was known for his strong work ethic and the pride he took in everything he did. He was also someone who gave the best advice in life — wise, honest, and always from the heart. His guidance will continue to live on through the many people he helped and supported.

One of his favorite joys in life was watching soccer, especially when Mexico played. He loved gathering with his sons and grandchildren to watch the games, sharing laughs, excitement, and family moments that will never be forgotten.

Emilio also loved music. He started and ended his days with music playing from his phone, filling his home with rhythm and joy. He especially loved dancing cumbias with his daughter, wife, and granddaughters, creating cherished memories full of laughter and love.

Family was at the center of Emilio's heart. He loved having everyone gather at his home, hosting big dinners in his backyard, and watching all his grandchildren have fun together. These moments brought him immense joy and created lasting memories for all who attended.

Emilio showed incredible strength throughout his life. He fought bravely through more than nine years of dialysis, never losing his determination. After a difficult work accident that left him partially blind, he continued to push forward with courage and resilience, inspiring everyone around him.

He is survived by his beloved wife Fabiola Guel, and his children Omar, Ervin, and Stephanie Guel, who will forever carry his love and wisdom in their hearts. He was a proud grandfather to Miabella, Aricela, Emiliano, Ervin Jr. Guel, Ivory, Hazel Lopez, and Jayden who brought endless joy into his life.

Those who were blessed to know Emilio will remember his kindness, his humor, his strength, his love of music, his love of family, and the deep love he had for his family. His memory will live on in every story shared and every heart he touched.

May he rest in eternal peace
