Emily Bruno Fuentes, age 81, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 in her home with her family by her side.

Emily was born on March 24, 1941, in Weslaco, Texas, to Santiago and Oralia Bruno. Emily spent much of her early life in Texas, until marrying her husband, Ysidoro Fuentes Sr. on December 24, 1957. The couple later relocated to Fresno, California in the 1960s, where they raised their five children together. She was a devoted mother and caregiver who dedicated her life to providing for her family. Family always had the greatest importance to her. She was a very sentimental person who loved to keep trinkets that reminded her of her loved ones.Emily had an outgoing personality and loved attending social events with family and friends. She spread joy everywhere she went. Emily also loved dancing to Mexican music at parties. Some of her favorite artists to listen to were: Ramon Ayala, Michael Salgado, and Los Tigres Del Norte. Most importantly, she was a selfless person who always prioritized the needs of others before herself. She had many admirable qualities and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.

Emily is survived by her husband, Ysidoro Fuentes Sr., and her five children: Oralia, Annie, Ysidoro Jr., David, and Soyla. She is also survived by six sisters, one brother, and many grandchildren.
