Graciela "Gracie" Castro, 75, of Sanger, CA, passed away on June 9, 2024 at her residence, surrounded by her husband and sons.

Gracie was born on October 27, 1948 in Houston, Texas to parents Manuel Flores and Vicenta Fuentes. She moved to Sanger, CA in 1973 after her marriage to Adolph Castro. After her time raising her children, Gracie went on to work as a noon aide for Lincoln Elementary for over 20 years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her kindness, generosity, and love of baking.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Adolph Castro; her children Adolph Jr. and wife Alisha, Ricardo and partner Arthur; her grandchildren Manuel, Zoe, Josiah, Ayden, Ethan, Marcelino, Jacob, Joseph, Jaydee, and her sister Santos Rodriguez of Texas.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Sarah.

A rosary will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Wallin's funeral home in Sanger at 6pm.  Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 10am at St. Mary's New Catholic Church in Sanger.  Please join us in celebrating Gracie's life and legacy. She will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.
