Irma Casares age 84 of Sanger Ca passed away Saturday morning, January 19th, 2025 at her residence. She was born October 18,1940 in Tampico Mexico, the first daughter of seven children to Emilio and Guadalupe Tamez.

Irma is survived by a daughter, two sons, a daughter in law, a son in-law, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her three sisters, family and lifelong friends who sadly miss her.

She traveled to Texas at the age of ten with an aunt to have more opportunities, later after her marriage and the birth of her first son and daughter she moved to California.  There she had two additional sons and continued to work very hard to purchase her home in Sanger, raising her four children and assisting youngest brother to become a teacher.

She took an active role in her Senior Center, and always remained a source of support, wisdom and love to her friends and family. She loved to travel and experience new things, but most of all she took great pride in her garden, which she would spend most of her time attending to.

There are no words that can express our gratitude to her neighbors who were always there for her in life and for her family after her passing. Also a heartfelt thank you to the Sanger Police, EMS and Fire Department for doing everything that could be done.
