Israel M.
Trevino
Nov 2, 1944 — Jun 19, 2026
Today we celebrate the life of Israel Trevino, who was born on November 2, 1944, to Vicente and Maria Luisa Trevino, the eldest of five children.
Israel was a man who dedicated his life to his family and to hard work, He married the love of his life, Graciela Trevino, and together they shared 57 beautiful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, devotion, and family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Graciela, his son, Israel Trevino, Jr. and his daughter, Minerva Trevino.
He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his daughters, Marta and Lucy, along with 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by his love, guidance, and wisdom.
Israel began his working life as a farm worker and, at just 22 years old, became a butcher, a profession he proudly dedicated 25 years to. Through determination and perseverance, he also became a successful business owner.
To know Israel was to know a man of integrity and strength. He was a man of many words and wisdom beyond his years-respected, responsible, dedicated, and hardworking. He was loving, caring, compassionate, and truly had a heart of gold.
He was a leader in every sense of the word, He was a confidant, a trusted friend, and most importantly, our father and the cornerstone of our family. His lessons, his guidance, and his unwavering love will continue to live on through all who knew him.
Although our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on in his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and in the countless lives he touched.
Dad, your love, strength, and wisdom will remain with us forever. We will miss you deeply, honor you always, and carry your memory in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
Rest in peace, Israel Trevino. Your work here is done, and your legacy will never be forgotten.
