Jack Reed was born on February 24, 1940 in Fresno, CA, and passed away on June 1, 2026 in Clovis, CA. He was preceded by his parents, Robert "Bob" and Margaret Reed. He is survived by his daughters Frances (Jim) Hansen, Janet (Rex) Howard, and Nancy (Lance) Andersen, seven grandchildren (Barbara, Amy, Michael, Emily, Mary, Mitchell and Jackson), 5 great grandchildren (Stanley, Henry, Beverly, Harrison and Jesse), two sisters (Rita and Ellen), and other beloved family members.

Above all, he loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and his family. He served his Lord faithfully, and took care of his family unselfishly. He dedicated his life to God, his beloved wife, and daughters. He generously served his church and community, and found great joy in helping however and whenever he could. We have the complete assurance that he is with his Savior, and we look forward to seeing him in heaven some day. Well done, thou good and faithful servant.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations for the Immanuel Lutheran Church social hall remodel at 5955 S. Elm Ave., Fresno, CA  93706. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 24th, 9:00 AM at Fowler Cemetery under direction of Wallin's Fowler Funeral Home.
