Jeaneane Marie
Miller
Feb 21, 1936 — Aug 24, 2024
Sanger
Jeaneane passed away August 24 at Clovis Community Hospital surrounded by her daughters. She will be greatly missed. Jeaneane was born in Royal Oak Township, Michigan to Lloyd Ott and Lucille (Bailey-Ott) Scott. She moved to Tracy, California with her husband Tom in 1953. They moved a few times for Tom's work at Contel Telephone Company: Manteca, Dos Palos, Sanger, Taft, and retired to their home in Sanger. Jeaneane worked as a nurse's aide and as a medical office manager.
Jeaneane had many talents. She loved cooking, baking, crocheting, going to casinos to play black jack and slot machines, tending to her flower beds, planting and growing succulents, going to yard and estate sales, doing a variety of crafts: ceramics, whimsical garden art, wreaths, jewelry-making, making her own laundry soap, and when Tom was alive traveling in their motorhome with Tom's brothers and sisters and other Elks members.
Jeaneane was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Tom Miller, her parents, her father and mother-in-law Henry and Laura Miller, two brothers, Sonny and Roger Ott and two son-in-laws, Ed Hyder and Sam Garcia, and brothers and sisters-in-law Bill and Betty Miller, Mop Myers, Carol Croxton and Ron Maxwell. She is survived by her daughters Kay Garcia, Helen Miller and son-in-law Joe Galvan, and Caroline Hyder. Three grandchildren, Kristina Ramirez (Daniel Colbert), Robert Hyder and Brooke Hyder. Three great grandchildren, Olivia, Grace and Felix Ramirez, two brothers, Gerald Ott (Ina) in Michigan and Ronald Scott (Patti) in Mississippi, and brother and sisters-in-law Pat Myers, Elaine Maxwell and Gary and Candy Miller, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jeaneane loved her grandchildren and her great grandchildren very much. Mom, you will be forever loved, remembered and missed. We can't imagine life without you.
