Obituary

Jebediah Mackenzie Tompkins, lovingly known as Jeb, was born on July 5, 2000, in Fresno, California, and passed away suddenly on June 3, 2026, in Caruthers, California.

Born weighing just 3 pounds, 6 ounces, Jeb entered the world alongside his twin brother, Joseph, whom he beat by one minute, proudly making him the older twin. From the very beginning, Jeb was a fighter. Born with Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome, he faced many challenges throughout his life with a quiet strength that inspired those around him.

Jeb was the beloved son of Jason and Christina Tompkins and a cherished brother to Kyle, Jeremiah, Jasper, Molly, Joseph, and Kennedi. His family was the center of his world, and his presence brought joy, laughter, and love to their lives.

Though non-verbal, Jeb communicated in his own special way. Those who knew and loved him understood his expressions, routines, and the comfort he found in familiar people and places. He loved watching movies, going camping, and sitting in the truck. More than anything, he loved being close to his mom and could often be found following her wherever she went.

Jeb valued his personal space and preferred the comfort of familiar surroundings. His family respected and appreciated this part of who he was, understanding the unique way he experienced the world.

He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Amanda, Kassidy, Kamila, Kaylee, Everly, Lincoln, Levi, Kevin Jr., River, and Atlas. His memory will live on through the stories shared by those who loved him and through the family that will continue to carry him in their hearts.

Jeb shared a special bond with his twin brother, Joseph, and a lifetime of memories with his siblings, including his sister Kennedi, with whom he shared the everyday connection that only siblings understand.

Jeb's life was filled with simple joys, familiar routines, unwavering love from his family, and a quiet presence that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his strength, his unique spirit, and the love he inspired in those fortunate enough to be part of his life.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Forever in our hearts. ❤️
