Jesus Lopez Hernandez, 101 years of age, passed on February 15, 2023
peacefully at his home.
Jesus is survived by his children Joey, Mary, Jesse, Edward, Tony, Louie,
his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jesus is preceded in death by his wife
of 49 years, Nicolasa, his daughter Bertha, granddaughter Stephanie and both of
his younger sisters Juana and Bertha.
Jesus was born on April 21, 1921 in Abasolo, Guanajuato Mexico to Mauro
Hernandez and Loretta Lopez. Jesus migrated to the United States on December
28, 1949 with his mother Loretta and sister Juana. Soon after Jesus met and
married the love of his life Nicolasa on August 27, 1950. The couple settled in
Fowler Ca. where they immediately started a family. Jesus and Nicolasa later
purchased their home in Sanger Ca where they continued to raise their 7
children. Jesus retired in 1986 from Swift Company Turkey Plant. After living in
the United States for 47 years he received his certificate of naturalization on
September 9, 1996. Jesus spent the remainder of his years surrounded by love
and family in the home he once shared with his wife.
