It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joe Rene Marquez, a beloved brother, son, and friend, who left us suddenly at his home in San Bruno. Born and raised in, Fowler, CA, Joe Rene was a proud graduate of California State University Fresno, where he forged lifelong friendships as a member of the Delta Sigma Pi fraternity.
A man of honor and integrity, Joe Rene was known for his level-headedness and unwavering support for those around him. His welcoming nature and genuine kindness made him a respected figure in his community. He was deeply loved by all who knew him, and his legacy of goodwill and friendship will live on in the hearts of many.
Joe Rene is survived by his loving mother, Helen, his brothers Jess, Joaquin, his sisters, Carlotta and Amanda, as well as countless relatives and friends who will cherish the memories they shared with him. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Marquez, who was known for his green thumb and love of gardening. Joe Rene proudly followed in his father's footsteps, nurturing the same passion for cultivating plants and creating beauty in the world around him.
