Joe L. Navarro of Sanger, California passed away November 3, 2024, at the age of 75 years old surrounded by family and friends.

Joe was born June 7, 1949, to Carmen G. Navarro in Fresno, California and was the youngest of his five children and three other half siblings. After his mother's passing, he was taken to Texas until the age of five and was brought back to California. He lived in Tulare County until he was sixteen years old and moved back and forth between California and Texas until he married and resided in Sanger, California the rest of his life.

He married Maria Del Carmen Navarro in 1971 and had two children, Jose Luis Navarro Jr., and Veronica Rubi. After the passing of his wife and two-year-old son in 1976, he re-married Alicia B. Navarro in 1980 and had two more children, Denisia Navarro Mena, and Jose Luis Navarro.

Joe worked in the farming industry in the Central Valley for over 50 years. He worked for Marty Maizman Farms for 20 years and McClarty Farms for another twenty plus years. After his retirement he enjoyed driving his tractor, working on his ranch in Sanger and spending time with family.

He is preceded in death by his mother Carmen G. Navarro, siblings Juana N. Silva, Mario G. Navarro, Ramiro G. Navarro, and Maria Navarro and his two sons Jose Luis Navarro Jr. and Jose Luis Navarro.

He leaves behind his wife Alicia B. Navarro, daughters Denisia Navarro Mena and Veronica Rubi, grandsons Robert M. Rubi Jr., Sebastian Rubi, Quinn Rubi, granddaughters Kyra A. Mena, Mia B. Mena, and Gianna N. Mena, and two great grandchildren Jayden and Jeremiah Rubi along with his nieces and nephews.

He loved and cherished and will truly be missed.
