John Edward Haller was born on June 16, 1944 to Byron and Eva Mae Haller in Oakland, CA. John passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, and joined our mother Linda, his wife of more than 57 years, on December 09, 2024.

John is survived by his daughter Diane Lima and husband Clark, and his son Sean Haller and wife Shauna.   John is also survived by his six grandchildren: Emery Haller, Spencer Lima, Austin Haller, Trevor Lima, Brooke Lima, and Marissa Haller.

John moved to Fowler in 1946, and met Linda Converse at an early age.  They were high school sweethearts and were married in 1965.  John was proud of his little town and an avid supporter of Fowler's schools, sports teams, FFA, and community programs.  "Once a Redcat, Always a Redcat."  John was a beloved husband, and loving father and grandfather.  John's grandchildren lovingly called him "Bop."  John was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren.  John made sure he attended their sporting events, parades, FFA events, cheer competitions, and band concerts.  You could always count on him cheering for and supporting his grandchildren.  John will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
