John Perez

1952 – 2025

John Perez, 73, of Fowler, California passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025 surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.

John was the epitome of strength, a man whose unwavering faith and resilience became a living example of courage and perseverance for our family.  He was a true love of plants and spent countless hours in his backyard tending to his garden.  Just as he nurtured his plants, he spent his life devoted to his family, creating a legacy to live on forever.

John's legacy is carried on by his loving wife of 55 years, Rita Perez.  Together they built a life centered on family and faith.  He was a proud and devoted father to his five children:  Vickie Perez, Johnny Perez Jr., Michelle Gonzalez, Monica Rodriguez, and Linda Alaniz.

His gentle spirit will live on through his nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom he adored.  John also leaves behind a large and close-knit family of eight siblings: Manuel Perez, Josie Perez, Martha Hamp, Mary Perez, Tony Perez, Carlos Perez, Joey Perez, and Mariano Perez.

He was the root from which his family grew, and while his presence will be deeply missed, the beauty he planted in the hearts of those who knew and loved him will continue to grow.
