Obituary

Earlene was born in Sawyer, Oklahoma to Thomas and Vera Franks and as a small child, she moved with her family to New Mexico.

She met her husband Roy while living in Clovis, New Mexico. They were married September 6, 1944 and lived in Fresno, California since 1951.

Earlene was employed by Clovis Unified School District as a Librarian Assistant for Nelson Elementary School. She retired in 1981.

She was preceded in death by Roy her husband of 58 years, her daughter Sue Stamps, her parents, her two brothers and one sister, and her daughter-in-law Linda Little.

She is survived by her three children, Ronald Little, LaVon Dorval and her husband Michael, Connie Dunkel and her husband Edward, her four grandchildren, Timothy Little, Brandalyn Chang and her husband Timothy, Bekki Carrillo and her husband Joshua, Justin Dorval and his wife Colleen, as well as her great grandchildren, Patrick Dorval, Alyssa Dorval, Samantha Dorval, Rylee Carrillo, Jaxon Carrillo and Dillon Chang. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Lloyd Little and his wife Nancy. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was a loving and caring wife and mother, a doting grandmother and great-grandmother.

A graveside service will be held at the Clovis Cemetery on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:00 am.
