Jorge Meraz Sr., beloved father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 3rd, 2024 at the age of 49. He was born on May 21st, 1976 in Escondido, CA to Erasmo Meraz and Elpidia Meraz.

A devoted father to Jorge Jr, Gabriella, and Erasmo, also cherished his role as a grandfather to Athena, who brought him immense joy. He is survived by Patty and Anna, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Throughout his life, Jorge was known for his kindness, humor, and dedication to his favorite football team the Kansas City Chiefs.

He enjoyed watching football, barbecuing, fishing, camping, and watching movies. His warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support were a source of strength and comfort to his family and friends.

He will be remembered not just for the life he lived but for the love he shared and the people he touched. He is now at peace and forever in our hearts.
