Julia Munoz Reyes, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 12, 2022. She was born on February 16, 1932 to the late Isabel and Angela Munoz in Pico Rivera, CA. She is also preceded in death by her husband Tony Reyes.

Julia was raised in Sanger and remained there until she and Tony purchased a home in Calwa, where she and her family resided.

Julia dedicated her life to raising her children and helped raise her grandchildren by babysitting them in their preschool years and beyond. She was full of love and was the shining light of the family. You could often find her in the kitchen where everyone gravitated so they could visit with her. In the evenings she enjoyed watching her Novellas.

Julia is survived by her siblings: Reuben Munoz, Rachel Chavez, Pete Munoz, Stella Rico and Jessie Hernandez; 6 children and their spouses: Tony and Jackie Reyes; Fernando Reyes and Daniel Jackson; David and Vicky Reyes; Lydia and Pete Ramirez; Gloria and Dave Collier and Anna and Carlos Gallegos. 6 grandchildren and their spouses and significant others: Tiffany and Miguel Manzo; Matthew Reyes and Krystal Jeffries; Michelle and Mathew Prentice; Andrew Gallegos; Candice Gallegos and Brandon Collier. 4 great-grandchildren: Julia and Tiger Manzo and Theodore and Thomas Prentice.
