After a long battle with ALS, Karen was called to her heavenly home on February 12, 2024. She was blessed to peacefully spend her last years in her home with the assistance of her loving family. Never losing her good spirits, she finished life as she always lived it and was faithful to God's promises and was a caring wife and mother.

Karen was born on March 24, 1959, in Sanger, California to Dan and Joyce Frauenheim. She was a farm kid at heart growing up on the family's ranch and working for the family business, Chris Sorensen Packing. Karen attended Sanger High School and graduated from Fresno State with a teaching credential. After college, Karen met the love of her life, Brian Anderson, and they were married in 1984. Soon after, Karen became the mother to three beautiful children: Kristen, Nicole, and Neil. She loved her family more than anything and devoted her life to her husband working alongside him on the farm and raising their children. Karen had many talents: she was an expert gardener, skilled woodworker, a fabulous cook, and enjoyed crafting and canning. She loved the many family vacations to Cayucos and hiking.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Joyce Frauenheim.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Anderson; daughter Kristen Anderson and her partner JR Peelman, daughter Nicole Anderson; son Neil Anderson, brother Steve Frauenheim and his wife Kerry; brother Ron Frauenheim and his wife Nanette; sister Sharon Cruff and her husband Larry; brother-in-law Brent Anderson; brother-in law Sid Anderson and his wife Kaylen. Karen will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and her dogs Tig and Mokie.

A Celebration of Karen's Life will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 1254 N. Frankwood Ave., Reedley, CA 93654, on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 1254 N. Frankwood Ave., Reedley, CA 93654; Nancy Hinds Hospice, 1416 W. Twain, Fresno, CA 93711; or the donor's favorite charity.
