KEPHAS IKLESIA POPE - Age 18 Born August 29, 2006 in Shanghai, China; went home to the Lord on November 21, 2024 Cause of Death: Struck by a speeding car while waiting to cross the street on his way to class at Santa Clara University. Kephas was an exceptional young man in every respect, far beyond his years in maturity, humility, accomplishment and Faith. He was a beautiful, handsome, chiseled, 6' 3" gentle soul. He loved working out at the gym and eating healthy. He also loved and excelled at golf, as well as being an expert at the video game "Valorant."

Remarkably, Kephas started college at only age 16, yet quickly rose to the top of his class academically. He was a straight-A student majoring in Neuroscience and Bio- chemistry, with sights firmly set on Medical School and a career in surgery. He finished all prerequisite classes in the first half of his Sophomore year and planned to take the MCAT exam this Summer.

He dearly loved, and was adored by, Mother, Patricia; Father, Nathan, and; Sister, Grace. Get togethers in Fresno with his Grand-parents, Aunts, Uncles, His Great-Grandmother, and 16 First Cousins were his favorite times. Happily, he lived with his Father and Sister in his last several months, and was able to spend this past Summer in China with his Mother and stepfather, Chris Garden. Above all, Kephas was a devoted Christian and strove to love God and all people.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Sanger Community Church, 10:00AM, Monday, December 2, followed by interment at the Sanger Cemetery.

A vigil will be held on December 8 at 7:30PM in front of the Mission Church at Santa Clara University, where Kephas was loved, and will be greatly missed..
