Mr. Luis Medellín de 87 años, residente de Parlier, entró a su descanso eterno el martes 17 de enero de 2023. Luis nació el 19 de agosto en Cerritos, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Sus padres fueron Sofia y Reyes y su querida esposa María Guadalupe, con quien estuvo casado 28 años y ahora lo acompañan en el cielo. A Luis le sobreviven dos hijas, Norma y Rebecca. Que descanse en paz nuestro querido papa  Luis.

Luis immigrated to the U.S in the 1960s. A hard working, traditional man Luis always woke with the sun and enjoyed working closely with his hands; initially building railroads during the development of Las Vegas then transitioning to farm laboring in the Central Valley where he would eventually retire. He took pride in building a loving home in which his family still resides. Always active and never able to sit still for quite too long, Luis enjoyed long walks in the community, eating his favorite foods, never missing his morning cup of coffee, and not missing a game from his beloved Dodgers. Rest in heavenly peace, Daddy.
