It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Maria de la Luz Acosta, who passed away on February 13th, 2024, at the age of 95 years.

Maria was born in Mexico on January 19th, 1929. She married her husband, Lino Acosta, in 1946 and made their home in Sanger, Ca. Together, they happily raised four children.

Maria is survived by her children, daughter Maria and spouse Jose, daughter Francisca and spouse Patricio, son Juan, and son Javier and spouse Alice, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four siblings. Maria was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Lino Acosta.

Maria was known for her strong faith, contagious laughter, and thoughtful nature. She always looked out for her family as well as her friends and neighbors.
