Martha Solis Aguayo

9/16/1948 - 7/2/2023

Born in Jalisco, Mexico to Maria and Ignacio Solis. She was the third of eight children. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Antonio Aguayo; sons Eric and Tony Aguayo; daughter, Lupe Aguayo and granddaughter, Aurora Aguayo.

My mom called my daughter, Estrellita (little star) because she said that even before I was pregnant with Aurora, she knew that her grandchild was 'out there'. That she could imagine her, see her even, but just couldn't touch her. So, she was like a star to her. I told Aurora on Sunday that her Gigi was now our Estrellita. We cannot reach her anymore but we can see her and we know she is always with us.

She was proud of being a school bus driver for Madera County for several years before retiring. She loved sunflowers, her toy poodle, Honeybear and most of all, her family. We have a giant hole in our hearts that was left by my mom. ****
