Mary Louise
Oliver
Sep 15, 1932 — Jul 12, 2024
Surprise
Mary Louise Oliver (Born Mary Louise Powell) was born on September 15, 1932, in Pike County, Mississippi. She passed on July 12, 2024, at age 91, in Surprise, Arizona where she lived with her son. She is preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Lacy Glenn Oliver Jr. She is survived by daughter Cheryl L. Axt, son Bradley Oliver Sr., grandson Bradley N. Oliver Jr., granddaughter Rachel N. Axt, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
As a lifelong Christian, she devoted her life to God and to the service of others. She attended Easton Presbyterian Church for more than 30 years and was an active member. She gave back to the community by hosting the annual church yard sale to raise money for youth groups to spread the word of the Lord. Even in her final moments with us, she used her voice to continue praising our Savior.
Known to us as Mom, Grandma, Aunt Mary, Momo, and Yaya, her memory will be cherished as those who have experienced her love continue to carry on her legacy by preaching kindness and love for all.
Her visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1st from 4-7 PM at Wallin's Funeral Home in Fowler, CA. Her graveside service will take place at the Fowler Cemetery at 9:00 AM, August 2nd. A memorial service at Easton Presbyterian Church will follow at 11:00 AM.
To those planning to attend her services, please wear cheerful colors or patterns as Mary Louise always strove to live her life in color.
