Melvin Swofford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Opal Swofford, and sister Charlotta Swofford.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Christine, and son Melvin Ray, brother Walter of Sanger, sister Gwen Swofford of Missouri, brother John Henry & Lynette of Utah, niece Jolene of Utah, niece Marie Garrett of Missouri and nephew Matthew Gladdin of Missouri.
