Myra Gonzalez

(February 20, 1942- December 5, 2025)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Myra Gonzalez of Sanger, California, who departed this life on December 5, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born in Sanger, CA on February 20, 1942, Myra was a cherished daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and a pillar of her community.

Her life was defined by her unwavering dedication to her family and her deep love for her community. She was known for her generous spirit, warm heart and kind smile. Throughout her life she brought joy and strength to all who knew her.

She loved hosting dinner's, especially for the holiday's. She took joy in cooking all the meals from scratch, usually starting days in advance. She would go above and beyond to make the holidays extra special for family or a friend that would drop by. She loved to work in her yard and took pride in her gardening projects.

Myra's commitment to service was recognized by the City of Sanger upon her retirement, where she was honored with the key to the City in appreciation of her 27 years of dedication and leadership. Her contributions touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on the community she loved so dearly.

She is survived by her family, son Rick Gee, daughter's Shelly Quattrone, Sandy Rogers and husband Dave Rogers, Patty Diazgonzales and husband Eddie Diazgonzales, siblings Karen Nichols and Terri Bier Tachera. She has 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Ralph "Butch" Gonzalez, mother Bertha Headley, and father Grant Gee, Sister Brenda Fink and stepdaughter Sherrie Gonzales.

Her legacy will live on through the memories she created and the warmth she shared so generously. She will forever be missed and cherished in our hearts.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at The Harvest in Fowler for the care they showed our mother/grandmother for the past 3 years.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, January 23rd, 2026 at 10:00 am at Wallins Funeral Home Sanger.
