Patricia Ann Hurtado
April 14, 1955 – November 26, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia "Patty" Hurtado of Sanger, California, who gained her wings on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the age of 70.

Patty was born on April 14, 1955, in Sanger to Julio and Mary Hurtado. The oldest of eight children, she cherished being part of a large family. She graduated from Sanger High School, Class of 1973.

Following high school, Patty began her career with the County of Fresno, where she worked faithfully until her retirement in 2018. Retirement, however, never slowed her down, she continued working event security with CSC in her spare time. Patty was always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed, caring for others before tending to her own needs.

She had a secret Disney addiction that brought her joy, as well as a fondness for bears. Above all, Patty's greatest source of pride was becoming a mother. The day she welcomed her daughter, Selena, into the world was the proudest moment of her life. To her, the only title that truly mattered was "Mom." Her legacy will live on in the memories she created, the wisdom she shared, and the love she gave to those she came across.

Patty is survived by her daughter, Selena Ozuna; her siblings Julio Jr., Ruth, Richard, Kenneth, Annette, and David; and by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Julio and Mary Hurtado, and her sister, Margaret Hurtado.
