Mrs. Paula Cano Moncivais passed away on Sunday, November 19th, 2023, in Tulare, California.  She was born in Elsa,Texas and lived most of her life in Parlier, California. She was one of ten children born to Porfirio Cano and Fransisca Martinez Cano.  Paula loved helping others, and often put their needs in front of her own. She was a strong,  determined and courageous woman, having battled and survived cancer in 1990. Despite living the rest of her life in a wheelchair, she had a zest for life that was easily noticed by those who got to know her. Her faith in God was her primary strength and she often leaned on His promises to get her through many extreme health crises.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Roland Moncivais, son Johnny Gonzalez, and grandson Garrett Roland Saenz.

She is survived by her children: Rey Gonzalez, Maria Cerda, Pattie Saenz, Roland Moncivais, and Michael Moncivais; her grandchildren:
Savannah Cerda, Landon Gonzalez, Luke Cerda, Breylin Gonzalez, and Ella Saenz; her siblings: Max Cano, Maria Cano, John Cano, Vickie Garza, Jessica Diaz, Angie Cano, Frances Pruneda, Lisa Cano, and Porfirio Cano.
