Born in Fowler, California to Ruth & Alexander, he was the youngest of 4 children. He passed peacefully after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Like his father, he graduated with his doctorate in pharmacy from UC San Francisco and additionally earned a lifetime teaching credential. He would go on to work at Rudy's pharmacy in Fresno where he entered into a partnership with George Wallet, Aram Kermoyan, Henry Rudolph, Gerald Ogata, Jim Morikawa and Carl Singleton all of whom he respected and trusted implicitly.

He was known for both his physical strength as well as his strong work ethic. He was an honest man with the highest level of integrity. His hobbies included car restoration and collecting as well as stock car racing. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who enjoyed traveling extensively, most often to hunt. These expeditions included multiple trips to Africa, New Zealand, Argentina and Russia.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 15 years, Darlene. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Richelle and Corey Heermann, grandchildren Macie and Jackson as well as stepchildren and grandchildren Lisa (Matthew), Carlos (Melody), Eric (Jozalyn, Carlitos) and siblings Francis, Valerie and Ralph.
Services will take place at 10am on Thursday, September 7th at Wallin Funeral Home in Fowler.
