On Saturday, December 30, 2023, Robert Kelly Romero was called to be with the Lord and gained his wings. Born on February 4, 1965 in East Los Angeles, California to Louise Navarette and Ruberto Romero. From East Los Angeles, he moved to the Central Valley where he found employment at Valley Children's Hospital as a chef and supervisor. He dedicated over 30 years serving families and children in their most vulnerable times with love, a smile, and a few jokes.

Robert Kelly Romero is survived by his only daughter Bryanna Romero. He was a loving, supportive, and encouraging father. On his free time he could be found serving his community by barbecuing and coaching the Sanger Stars Softball team for 10 years. Anywhere Kelly went, he was always joking and could make you smile in your darkest times. He truly had the heart of a lion always protecting everyone he loved and making sure they had everything they needed no matter the circumstances. Kelly was a father, uncle, brother, son, and friend. To know Kelly, was to know that you had a warrior by your side that would protect, love, and motivate you to be a better person. To know him was to love him.
