Rodger Esler Crowley of Fresno, California died at age 83 on April 11, 2024, after living with pulmonary fibrosis for 3 ½ years. He was born on March 31, 1941, to his parents Charles Crowley and Vivienne Krikorian. He was the beloved husband of Eileen Crowley for 55 years. Rodger and Eileen were married on November 30, 1968, and had a loving, fun and happy life together.

He is survived by his wife Eileen; his daughter Staci Gundry and her children Ethan and Amelia; and his son Greg Crowley and his wife Melissa Crowley and their children Jack and Dylan. He is also survived by his stepmother Joan Crowley, half-brother Mike Crowley and half-sister Cindy Kingsley; half-sister Luelle Robinson and her husband Dave Robinson; brother-in-law Ronnie Kazarian, sister-in-law Patty Zakarian and her husband Russ Zakarian and 10 nieces and nephews.

After Rodger graduated from Bullard High School in Fresno, he enlisted into the Army. After bootcamp he was stationed in Puerto Rico. After his time in the Army, he came back to Fresno and attended Fresno State where he received a B.A. degree in Business. He spent his career mainly in the banking industry.

Rodger was an avid reader and knew a lot about history. He enjoyed playing golf and started playing the game with his family when he was young. He was on his high school golf team where he received many awards. He played at many public courses and was a member of Sunnyside Country Club for many years.

Rodger was always a gentleman and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
