Rudy Olivo was born in Fresno Ca on July 10, 1955 to Lupe Soto Olivo & Antonio Torres Olivo. Preceded in death by his grandparents Isario Cuevas and Eugenia Soto, parents Lupe & Tony Olivo, brothers Martin Olivo of Clovis California and Isaias Olivo of Phoenix Arizona. Surviving siblings': sisters Lupe Noriega of Tucson, Arizona, Maria Elaina Garza Olivo Cantu of Sanger, Sara Lee Trujillo of Clovis California, Cora Vigil and brother Adam Olivo of Sanger.
Rudy was married for 51years to the love of his life Rachel Castellanos Olivo of Sanger. Rudy has three sons and daughter in-laws Anthony & Cicily, Adam Michael & Sandy, Rudy Jr & Esmeralda and was a father figure to Rolando Tamez all of Sanger. Seven grandchildren: Garret, Carisse, Cion, Jonathan, Joshua, Jonah, Andrew Olivo all of Sanger.
Rudy worked as a cement mason and carpenter for 49 years. Rudy worked many construction projects that helped shape the San Joaquin Valley. He worked long hours and extended work weeks providing a great life for his family. His work ethic was infectious and drive to complete the projects was motivating to many men who work along his side and under his direction.
Rudy was an avid outdoorsman he was passionate about hunting and fishing. Rudy really loved to be in the great outdoors. Rudy loved to sit around and visit about all of the stories of successful and near successful hunting trips. He enjoyed poking and making jokes about many of the bloopers that he experienced on many of those hunting trips with family and friends.
Rudy found peace with his maker and humbled himself to fulfill his duty as a Godly husband, father, grandfather, to his family when he recently married his wife in the church and was baptized. Rudy soon thereafter learned what it meant to live this life with Faith in our King Lord Jesus and experienced Gods spirit of reassurance that we are never alone because God is with His children and gives the spirit of peace to His children so that we can endure the tribulations of this life on earth.
