Tamara Gaye
Plemons
Dec 6, 1957 — Apr 25, 2026
Kingsburg
The beloved Tamara "Tammy" Gaye Plemons, 68, peacefully departed this Earth and entered into the gates of Heaven in the early morning hours of April 25, 2026.
Born Tamara Gaye Farmer on December 6, 1957 to the late Gwenna and Bruce Farmer, she was the first of four Farmer girls. In quick order, the Farmer family welcomed Kelly, Lisa, and Sheri.
Tammy attended and graduated from Sanger High School in 1976, where she was a member of the swim team- setting several school records in the backstroke, as well as a member of the school color guard.
In the spring of 1985, Tammy met and fell in love with Bill Plemons. The pair married just six months later in September of 1985. In the year that followed, Tammy and Bill focused on building a company from the ground up. Together, as husband and wife, they built the family legacy, W.E. Plemons Machinery Services, Inc.
In June 1991, Tammy gave birth to William Eric Bruce Plemons.
In June 1997, Tammy gave birth to Trenton William Philip Plemons.
Tammy loved being a boy mom. She insisted on dressing the boys as twins despite the six year age gap. She dedicated her life to being the classroom mom, being present at school events and showing up for all of their sports games. Tammy devoted her life to motherhood.
In December 2019, Eric married Savannah. In 2020, they welcomed their firstborn son, Owen William Bruce Plemons.
In May 2023, Trent married Anisa. Tammy deeply adored her daughters-in-love and spoke often of knowing they were in the best hands, outside of her own.
Tammy was known for her infectious laugh, tireless devotion, and her ability to make every house a home. She was the silent donor, the community contributor, and a faithful giver. Tammy lived kindly, loved fiercely, and tried to be a motherly figure to all who encountered her.
Tammy is survived by her beloved husband of forty years, Bill Plemons, her sons Eric (+ Savannah) & Trent (+Anisa) and her most cherished and beloved grandson, Owen William.
Tammy is preceded in death by her mother and father, Gwen and Bruce Farmer and her dear sister, Lisa Farmer.
