Vera was born to Ezekiel and Josefina Fevinger in Fresno, California. She passed away at the age of 94. She was married to Mike Flores and had two sons, Michael and Henry, and one daughter Linda.

She used to sing on television, on a Mexican station, and enjoyed going to most of the Mexican concerts when they came to Fresno. Later on, she worked at Valley Medical Center in Fresno, California for about 20 years as an interpreter. She is also survived by her grandchildren as well as extended family. She will be greatly missed.
